Volumetric Analysis: Estimation of Hardness of water by EDTA Complexometry method

0 0 2 1 Course Objectives: The course consists of experiments related to the principles of chemistry required of engineering students. The students can perform estimations of acids and bases using conductometry, potentiometry and pH measurement methods. Students learn skills related to lubricant properties such as saponification value, surface tension and viscosity of oils.

Determination of parameters such as water hardness and corrosion rate of mild steel under different conditions. Able to perform methods such as conductometry, potentiometry and pH measurement to find concentrations or equivalence points of acids and bases.

Conductometry: Estimation of the concentration of an acid by Conductometry

Equip students to study engineering subjects more effectively and critically using the theoretical and practical components of the syllabus. Chapter titled "Toasted English" by R.K.Narayan from "English: Language, Context and Culture" published by Orient BlackSwan, Hyderabad. Chapter titled "Art and Literature" by Abdul Kalam from "English: Language, Context and Culture" published by Orient BlackSwan, Hyderabad.

Chapter titled 'Go, Kiss the World' by Subroto Bagchi from "English: Language, Context and Culture" published by Orient BlackSwan, Hyderabad. Since the syllabus for English given in AICTE Model Curriculum-2018 for B.Tech First Year is open ended, apart from following the prescribed textbook, it is necessary to prepare teaching/learning material jointly by the teachers in the form of handouts based on the needs of the students on their respective colleges for effective teaching/learning in class. Write a program to check whether the given input is digit or lowercase letter or uppercase letter or a special character (use 'if-else-if' ladder).

Write a function called remove_duplicates that takes a list and returns a new list with only the unique elements from the original. If the given word is 'Apple', it should become 'A,p,p,l,e' ii) Remove the given word in all places of a string? . iii) Write a function that takes a sentence as an input parameter and replaces the first letter of each word with the corresponding uppercase letter and the rest of the letters of the word with the corresponding lowercase letters without using a built-in function? . Write a function called draw_rectangle that takes a Canvas and a Rectangle as arguments and draws a representation of the Rectangle on the Canvas.

Write a function called draw_point that takes a Canvas and a Point as arguments and draws a representation of the Point on the Canvas. Write a Python program to demonstrate the use of the Resolution Order (MRO) method at multiple levels of inheritance. Write a GUI program to create a wizard window that has two text labels, two text fields, and two buttons such as Submit and Reset.

Know the determination of Planck's constant using photoelectric effect and identify the material whether it is n-type or p-type by Hall experiment. Students need to practice listening to the sounds of the language, in order to recognize them and distinguish between different sounds, to mark stresses and to recognize and use the correct intonation in sentences.

Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL) Lab

Interactive Communication Skills (ICS) Lab

Identify the peripherals of a computer, components in a CPU and its functions. Draw the block diagram of the CPU along with the configuration of each peripheral and submit to your instructor

Every student should individually install MS windows on the personal computer. Lab instructor should verify the installation and follow it up with a Viva

Cyber Hygiene: Students would be exposed to the various threats on the internet and would be asked to configure their computer to be safe on the internet. They need to customize their browsers

Draw the block diagram of the CPU along with the configuration of each peripheral and send it to your instructor. Features Covered: - Format Fonts in Word, Capitalize Word, Apply Text Effects, Use Character Spacing, Borders and Colors, Fonts in Word, Capitalize Word, Apply Text Effects, Use Character Spacing, Borders and Colors, Insert Header and Footer, use date and time option in both LaTeX and Word. Excel Orientation: The mentor should explain the importance of MS Office or an equivalent (FOSS) tool Excel as a spreadsheet tool and give the details of the four tasks and functions covered in each task.

Creating a Scheduler - Features to be covered: Gridlines, Format Cells, Summation, auto fill, Formatting Text

Split cells, freeze panes, group and outline, Sorting, Boolean and logical operators, Conditional formatting
