Since the grant is back-ended, the eligible amount of the grant would be initially allowed as term loan to the beneficiary. The completion of the project is subject to a period of 18 months from the date of disbursement of the first loan tranche by the financial institution or from the date of approval of the project by the committee. It is the owner's responsibility to obtain insurance for the project unit.
No joint inspection is required if the TFO of the project approved by the Bank is less than Rs.10.00 lakh. In such projects, the inspection will be carried out by the officer of the financing bank. The inspection report (Annex VI) of the Joint Inspection Committee/. The financing bank and the completion certificate must be attached to the declaration form for the final subsidy.
Joint inspection is not required in cases where the TFO of the project approved by the bank is less than Rs.10.00 lakh. For such projects the inspection will be carried out by. the officer of the Financing Bank.
