Terms and Condition of the Tender:
A: General
1. Prices quoted should include all charges towards packaging, forwarding, airfreight, insurance including installation and demonstration.
2. The rate quoted should be inclusive of all applicable taxes, F.O.R. at Department of Agricultural Meteorology, Anand Agricultural University, Anand.
3. Our university will supply custom duty exemption certificate for being educational institute.
4. Validity of the quotation should be 60 days from the date of receipt of the quotation.
5. Duly filled tender forms in sealed envelope should reach the Professor and Head, Department of Agricultural Meteorology, B A College of Agriculture, Anand Agricultural University, Anand-388 110 on or before 22-08-2011 through registered post or speed post only.
6. Please super scribe the envelopes “Rate for: “Albedometer, Net radiometer sensor, data logger and infrared radiometer” as the case may be bearing our reference number and mention clearly “Sender‟s Name and Address”.
7. Tenderers who have used downloaded forms from website www.aau.in must attach a demand draft of Rs.500/- payable to “AAU fund account” along with the tenders.
8. Earnest money
The earnest money deposit for each tender is (EMD) of 3% of the total cost of item and should be in the form of crossed demand draft payable to “Anand Agricultural University Fund Account” shall have to be accompanied with the filled tender forms. The EMD will be forfeited if the supply of goods/material is not within stipulated time and of inferior quality as per the order. The deposit will be refunded only after delivery and demonstration of the items.
9. In case of disputes, decision of Vice Chancellor, Anand Agricultural University, Anand will be final and acceptable to all the parties.
10. Authorized dealer must enclose authorization certificate of manufacturing company.
11. Parties may be called for scientific discussion and price negotiation, if required 12. University reserves its right to reject any or all tenders without giving any
justification for the same.
13. The numbers of instruments may increase or decrease according to availability of the fund.
14. On receipt of purchase order, party has to submit security deposit @ 5% of total purchase order in form of demand draft only in favour of „AAU fund account‟.
15. After satisfactory delivery and commissioning of the item payment will be released.
16. Any faulty parts should be immediately replaced by new one by the suppliers at his own cost.
17. Items should be such that no any type of recurring expenditure should be borne by the Department during warranty period.
