The Program Objectives, Program Outcomes and Course Outcomes are integrated into the syllabus and evaluation of the course. The achievement of the Program Outcomes (POs), Program Specific Outcomes (PSOs) and Course Outcomes (COs) are evaluated by SIT for each year through mid-semester exams, end-semester exams, Lab exams, assignments, presentations, viva-voce exams, etc.

There are 5 sports facilities on campus (basketball court, volleyball court, tennis court, indoor sports, gym, cricket field). The University Library is the central facility for supporting the teaching and research activities of the University. We are currently using Virtua version 16.0. The main functions of the software are Web-OPAC, retrieval, cataloguing, circulation, serial control and digitization of book contents.

The University takes care of adequate budgetary provision and encourages all higher education units to upgrade information equipment in terms of e-education, e-knowledge, and possibilities for the development of e-content. The University has established systems and procedures for the maintenance and use of physical, academic and support facilities. However, the maintenance of the physical facilities of the university like departmental classrooms, seminar halls, library, computers, LCD projectors is done at the level of the concerned heads of the institutes.

The University has a separate Engineering cell to look after and it is done at the University level. The academic facilities are maintained by the individual heads of the institute and the Institute level College Academic Committee and if required the Directorate of Academics and University Planning will support wherever necessary. Various support facilities like sports, yoga, gymnasium, cultural activities, counseling are maintained by the University sports authorities formed by the University.

5.4.1 - The Alumni Association/Chapters (registered and functional) contributes significantly to the development of the institution during the year through financial and other support services. 6.5.1 – The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) has contributed significantly to the institutionalization of quality assurance strategies and processes by continuously reviewing the teaching learning process, operating structures and methodologies, and learning outcomes at regular intervals. The internal quality assurance cell verifies the quality of the institution's services to its stakeholders. Quality assurance methods and processes are overseen by the IQAC Committee, which is constituted and authorized by the governing body. The quality policy is reviewed once a semester and revisions are made by the IQAC committee if necessary.

The Institute has a system in place that assigns a faculty member as a mentor to each student. SIT is responsible for the entire maintenance of the Campus wide internet facility received from National. The university provides appropriate budget subsidies and encourages all the academic units to upgrade their IT. 5.4.1 - The Alumni Association/Chapters (registered and functional) contribute significantly to the development of the institution through financial and other support services during the year. The institute alumni association holds regular meetings and receives financial support from the alumni.

Some of the alumni of the University are across the length and breadth of the world and hold the highest positions. The functioning of the Institutional bodies is effective and efficient as can be seen from policies, administrative setup. University of Telangana state, is bound to follow state government regulations and practices for all the administrative and academic activities of Telangana University.
