The Relation of Time Management with Job Stress in Teachers of The Course of Sport and Other Courses in Qom

Abstract
Purpose: The aim of this research is to identify the relation of time management with job stress in teachers of sport and other courses in Qom.
Methodology: The style of research is descriptive and of solidarity type which was done on the shape of survey. So three questionnaires were used, composed of populational features(consisted of age, gender, marital status, course of study, and education), Orli and Giordano’s questionnaire of job stress consisted of 14 questions, and Kaufman, Scarburg, and Lindquist’s questionnaire of time management consisted of 35 questions. Population of the research contained the whole teachers of sport (n=245) and the whole teachers of other courses (n=12139). According to Cochran’s formula, statistical sample of research for sport teachers was determined to be contained of 150 persons and the sample of the other group was determined to be contained of 250 persons. All of these persons were assigned randomly. Questionnaires were corrected duo to ideas of 15 experts and then were confirmed as true. Reliability coefficient in job stress questionnaire was obtained (a= 0/85) and in time management questionnaire was obtained (a= 0/81). To describe data, Central tendency and dispersion indexes were used. According to neutrality of data distribution, Pierson’s correlation coefficient (for examining the relation between variables), linear regression (for forecasting variables), independent T test (for examining the difference between averages), and Z Fischer (for contrasting correlation coefficients) were used. In testing hypotheses, the level of significance was determined to be (P≤
0/05).
Results: Testing hypothesis have shown that there exist no significant relation between time management and job stress in teachers of sport (r=0/56, P ≥ 0/05). Also there is no specific difference between two genders of sport teachers in course of time management (t= -0/79, P ≥ 0/05). Then also there is no specific difference between two genders of sport teachers in course of job stress (t= 1/01, P
≥ 0/05). In other hand, there is a significant difference between time management and job stress in teachers of other courses (r= 0/46, P ≤ 0/05). Also, about teachers of other courses, time management can forecast job stress (t = 2/41, P ≤ 0/05,). There is no specific difference between two genders of other teachers in course of time management (t= 0/14, P ≥ 0/05). Also there is no specific difference between two genders of other teachers in course of job stress (t = 1/22, P ≥ 0/05). And also there is no significant difference between time management of teachers of other courses according to their course of education (t = -2/69, P ≤ 0/01). There is a significant difference between time management of teachers of other courses according to their physical exercise (t = -2/57, P ≤ 0/05). Also correlation coefficients of time management and job stress between these two groups do not show significant difference.
