What is the Global HR Forum?

In 2006, an annual conference named “The Global Human Resources Forum (Global HR Forum)” was jointly founded and inaugurated by the Korean Ministry of Education, Science and Technology (MEST), the Korea Economic Daily (KED) and the Korea Research Institute for Vocational Education & Training (KRIVET).

Why is the Global HR Forum notable?

Global HR Forum organizers believe that most global and universal issues can be best solved through human talents and collective efforts - a conviction that global prosperity can be achieved if all stakeholders stay connected, come together, share insights, cultivate creativity and support one another across time, place and boundary.

Primary missions of the Global HR Forum which takes place annually in autumn in Seoul, Korea are:

To identify universal challenges inhibiting global prosperity

To gather and exchange insights and opinions on current issues

To promote worldwide collaboration and to facilitate collective efforts for global harmony and co-prosperity

INVITATION

The Global HR Forum 2011 will bring together global thought leaders in an unique setting for the exchange of accumulated experiences, and best practices, and the search for innovative HRD solutions which will ultimately lead to a better future for all mankind.

We are pleased to invite you to the ‘Global Human Resources Forum 2011’ in Seoul, Korea from November 1 to 3, 2011.

This premium three-day event will be held under the central theme of ‘Smart Education : Reinventing the Future’ an opening venue for the exchange of in-depth information and discussions on future talent visions and strategies.

This fall, we will be bringing together global leaders form public and private sectors including renowned business leaders,

government officials, representatives of international organizations, presidents of prestigious universities, and prominent

scholars from around the world, who are committed to improving the quality of human resources and enabling sustainable growth for the global economy.

The forum will provide a pivotal platform for the international community to exchange best practices and to develop pro- gressive agenda on HRD. Participants will also be able to gain deeper understanding of different cultures of the East and the West, and to build a wide-reaching network for the development and utilization of global talents, who will serve as a foundation on which equal global prosperity can be pursued.

We anticipate an exciting and inspiring three-day discussion, and thus invite you to share your expertise and insights at

this prominent international forum.
