Abstract

Merger and acquisition(M&A) of Global logistics companies happens for a longtime, recently it is getting bigger and more diversify. Traditionally, M&A between foreign investment companies is converging business for transportation of air and land cargo type. Global logistics companies(ex. DP DHL, Fedex, UPS and so on) are constantly promoting the M&A for more efficient global transportation network. Domestic logistics companies also found oversea corporations for international management, but they are not competitive enough because of lack of infrastructure and network. The way to overcome is to develop domestic logistics companies for conquest plan.

This paper presents an implications for domestic logistics companies to bring up through M&A case of domestic and foreign logistics companies and grasp the M&A condition of special logistics companies.
