Emotional intelligence as the main indicator of the readiness of modern teachers for professional activity in the conditions. Attention is focused on the fact that developed emotional intelligence helps not only to solve the problem of psychological readiness for professional activity in the conditions of comprehensive education, but also to overcome barriers in the development of didactic opportunities of digital educational resources, such as. as well as painless adaptation to the rapidly evolving modern digital environment. The authors, based on the analysis of the research of foreign and domestic scientists, emphasize the uniqueness and importance of emotional intelligence, prove its role as the main indicator of teachers' readiness for professional activity in the conditions of digitization and inclusive education.

The purpose of the research in the scientific article proposed by the authors is to analyze the current trends in the use of digital technologies in the distance education (D) system; based on the study of foreign and domestic experiences, determine the advantages and disadvantages in the field of distance learning in the context of the transition to a digital format. Programs and projects implemented by state authorities in the field of distance education are aimed at transforming the entire technological process of education and training. The article also draws attention to the negative consequences of the current trend of the distance education system.
