CULTURAL STUDIES
КУЛЬТУРОЛОГИЯ
The analysis of the cultural realities of European cities covered by the Cultural and Creative Cities Monitor (CCCM) shows the presence and attractiveness of cultural institutions and places (cultural diversity) in the urban environment, the characteristic of culture for job creation and innovation (creative economy) and the conditions that they encourage the flourishing of cultural and creative processes (favorable environment). The results of the study show that cultural and creative values are distributed differently in European cities, in this regard, local authorities can develop strategies that take into account the specific characteristics and conditions of each city. This is because culture has a multidimensional nature and covers different areas of economy, society and people. On the one hand, there is a problem in defining and distinguishing culture, taking into account the complexity of cultural processes of production, consumption and the heterogeneity of the actors involved.
With the rapid increase of urban populations, managing urban sustainability has become one of the most important development challenges of the 21st century. The comparative structure of cultural factors can function as a pillar useful for political and economic assessment of the city potential. This conceptual complexity has led to the proliferation of very diverse (and sometimes conflicting) uses and effects in urban environments, and it has also complicated the practical application of the term and related metrics.
More recently, the interest of cultural researchers has shifted to the study of the cultural realities of small urban areas. For example, very high indicators of Florence in this context are mainly due to the presence of a large number of museums, while Ghent, the creative city of UNESCO music, is in the leading position due to the large number of concerts. halls. One of the options for determining the cultural development level of cities is the methodology of expressing the majority of indicators per capita.
Creative industries tend to concentrate in space to benefit from the agglomeration economy. In Italy, for example, the benefits of agglomeration have historically been found in Milan, which, along with Rome (which is only a few points behind), is an important center of the cultural and creative economy. In contrast, Spanish cities, despite the typical decentralized environment, which is well reflected in the results of the cultural vibration, only Barcelona outperforms others, followed by Madrid.

Trends in conventional and unconventional political participation in Europe between political trust and disillusionment with politics.
The article is devoted to the real issue of modern world development on the example of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
