The twoday ESQR convention was attended by business leaders from different countries, academic experts, quality professionals and diplomats. All the award recipients were given the opportunity to make a presentation of their respective organisations' activities prior to the awardgiving ceremony.
The ESQR is an international organisation dedicated to quality improvement techniques and research. It handles strategic questions in quality management and promotes quality culture and continuous improvement in qual
ity through its annual convention.

Standards Awards for Users from the
Department of Standards Malaysia, in recogni
tion of its contributions and standardisation initiatives.

The award presentation ceremony, held in conjunction with the ESQR Convention in Brussels, Belgium, was attended by the FRIM's Policy and Research Planning Programme Head, Dr Nur Supardi Md Noor.
