RESEARCH INFORMATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (RIMS)
Special Track RIMS :
The Research Information Management System (RIMS) studies are crucial in providing better management of researches.
RIMS is used to refer to the integrated management of information about the research life-cycle, and about the entities which are party to it (e.g. researchers, research outputs, organizations, grants, facilities, etc). The aim is to synchronize data across parts of the university, reducing the burden to all involved of collecting and managing data about the research process. An outcome is to provide greater visibility onto institutional research activity. Motivations include better internal reporting and analytics, support for compliance and assessment, and improved reputation management through more organized disclosure of research expertise and outputs.
The IRMIC secretariat would like to invite researches in sharing their ideas and experience dealing with RIMS. The discussion include these following issues (but not limited to);
* RIMS Design considerations.
* RIMS Implementation.
* RIMS Testing.
* RIMS Acceptance.
* Studies of Strength and Weaknesses of RIMS.
* Experience on RIMS.

IRMIC 2015 - The organizer strongly believe that the development of research management is a dynamic and continuous effort.
It requires active participation and cooperation from all relevant parties to ensure that the area of study continue to grow with latest relevant innovation assisted by multi-disciplinary expertise. Such diversity advantages in multi-disciplinary research should be
accommodated as it contributes to the knowledge expansion from various perspectives. The organizer believes with the involvement of international policy makers, implementers and researchers at IRMIC 2015 will contribute and lead to the sharing of knowledge in latest innovation and research. This is a platform to develop a research community with high level of thinking in the future.
