significanthuman misery.
Furthermore,conventional
stepladders
areincapable
ofmoving horizontally and
makeit difficult

CHAPTER 1 INTRODUCTION 1.0INTRODUCTION
In this
finalyearproject
(FYP),theobjectiveis to
makeadesign and analyze a
Moveable
Ladder.Thisladder can help workers who work in
thelightindustries to
ease theirwork. This ladder can
moveaside so
theworkers don't
needto move
theladder
whendoingwork. For making Moveable
Ladder,theproject
isto
designtheladder
thatcan move aside. This project
willreduce time
fortheworkers when
doingthelight
workat
thehigh place. It is
becausetheworkers don't need to climb
theladder
manytimes.
1.1 BACKGROUND OF STUDY
Nobody knows exactly
whentheladder
wasinvented.
Theearliestevidence of it,
however,may
befoundin
Valencia,Spain.A
10,000-year-oldMesolithic
rockartwork depictingaladder can be found at
theSpider Caves.
Varioustypesof ladders have been
developedover
timetosuitvarious
uses.Rigid ladders come in
twotypes:self
supporting
and
thosethatmay berested on
avertical surface
likeawall.
Aluminumladders
arecommonly used
nowadayssince they
aremultifunctional,lightweight, and easy to
store.Another type
ofladder is
theflexible
ladder.Rope,
cord,grass, and other flexible
materialsarecommonly
usedto
constructtheseladders.They'remore
portableand simpler to
operate.They're more
portableand simpler to
operate.Theyare,
nevertheless,
frequently utilized in battle
circumstancesand can
bequite
usefulin an
emergency.Accordingto
myobservations,
thetypicalcurrentstepladderis
unabletomove horizontally and is
toodifficult to move
fromone location to another
whilekeeping
thestructure. So,
thegap
thatwe
foundin this
projectis
thattheinvention of this moving ladder multitasks could move horizontally
usinga
mechanicalmechanism.1.2 PROBLEM STATEMENT
3. Because
of its
largesize,thestandardcurrent stepladder is difficult to
transportin a small vehicle or store in
asmall
space. Itssizecannotbelessened, and
itis
cumbersometo transport.
1.3OBJECTIVES
The main
objectivesofthis project are:
1.
To
designa ladder
thatcan move horizontally (left and right)
ata
predetermineddistance.
2.
To fabricate a ladder that can move horizontally
(leftand
right)at
apredetermined
distance.1.4SCOPE OF WORK
1. This ladder's movement is controlled by a mechanical system.
2. This ladder is only appropriate for usage on flat surfaces; it is not ideal for grassy or rocky terrain.
1.5EXPECTEDRESULTS
1. Make
aladder
thatcan
travelhorizontally (to
theleft and
right)ataset distance.
2.
When a
tool'spocketisoffered,itmakesiteasierforusersto use
theinstrumentin a systematic manner.
3.
To save users
timewhenperforming
jobsthatrequire them to move about
