The purpose of this study is basically to investigate the level of awareness of the Islamic banking system among UMK students in Kelantan. Based on the analytical results of the study, indicates that there is a significant relationship between knowledge, background, educational status and product quality and the level of awareness of the Islamic banking system among University Malaysia Kelantan students. Keywords: knowledge, background, educational status and product quality and the level of awareness about Islamic banking.

Is there any correlation between knowledge and the level of awareness of the Islamic banking system among students at UMK. While the dependent variables for this study are the level of awareness of UMK students about the Islamic banking system. This chapter discusses the concept of the determining factors on the level of awareness of UMK students about the Islamic banking system. The dependent variable is the awareness of Islamic banking system among UMK students.

DATA ANALYSIS AND FINDINGS

Preliminary analysis

The Cronbach's alpha value obtained for the variable is more significant than 0.8, which lies between 0.853 and 0.941. This showed that the measurements for each variable used in the pilot test of this study were accurate. As a result, the researcher conducted an actual survey to administer the questionnaire in the field after receiving the Cronbach's alpha value.

In this table and figure above for the distribution of education level among respondents, the highest number of respondents was bachelor's degree with 98.08% (n = 357), the second highest is master's degree with 1.4% (n = 5), the latter from Diploma and PHD with the same 0.3%. CK3 I am aware of the instruments used in the financing system offered by Bank Islam. The above table shows the distribution of awareness about the Islamic banking system among 364 respondents.

The result showed that all answered the questionnaire, B1 showed that the respondents strongly agree which is 53.8% (n = 196), the second highest response is strongly agree with 42% (n.

Result of Descriptive Analysis

Four questions were measured with the highest mean of 4.28 for item CK1 on the statement “I know that Islamic banking does not involve riba (interest)”. There is a total of 35.2% (n = 128) of respondents who are unsure, disagree and strongly disagree with the statement “I know Islamic banking returns are based on sales, leases and partnership profits”. Four questions were measured with the highest average of 3.67 for item CB2 on the statement “I won. experience with Islamic banking products while still a student”.

Otherwise, the lowest mean of 3.43 was for item CB4. n = 124) respondents who are unsure, disagree and strongly disagree with the statement "Many of my family members use the Islamic banking system". The mean values ​​for the other two items for CB1 and CB3 were 3.67 and 4.57, respectively. There were four questions measured with the highest mean of 4.02 for item CS3 in the statement "I think the Islamic banking system is better than the conventional system".

Otherwise, the lowest mean was 3.55 for item CS2. n = 138) of respondents who are unsure, disagree and strongly disagree, with the statement "My course helped me to understand the Islamic banking system". The mean values ​​for the other two items for CS1 and CB4 were 3.57 and 3.99 respectively. There is a total of 35.2% (n = 128) of the respondents who are unsure, disagree, and strongly disagree with the statement "Islamic banks provide sufficient information about their products".

The mean values ​​for the other two items for CP1 and CP2 were 3.99 and 3.91 respectively.

Table 4.4.1 shows the frequency, mean and standard deviation for the  items  used  to  measure  the  knowledge

Reliability Test

Based on the table, we can conclude that all the items in this study are consistent and reliable.

Normality Test

The results of the analysis show that the tabular tests of normality for all dependent and independent variables have significant values ​​of 0.000.

Pearson Correlation Coefficient Analysis

Based on the table, it was found that the Pearson correlation relationship between knowledge and knowledge is perfect, which is equal to 1. In addition, the Pearson correlation relationship between background and background is perfect, which is equal to 1. Then the Pearson correlation relationship between educational status and educational status is perfect, which is equal to 1.

Then the Pearson correlation relationship between product quality and product quality is perfect, which is equal to 1. The last Pearson correlation relationship between the awareness level of Islamic banking system and the awareness level of Islamic banking system is perfect, which is equal to 1.

Multiple Linear Regression

So, knowledge, training, education status and product quality affect the level of awareness of the Islamic banking system among UMK students. This shows that knowledge and background are influencing the awareness of Islamic banking system. While the P value of education status and the impact of product quality is 0.001 and 0.017, respectively.

Therefore, it indicated that this IV does not significantly affect the level of awareness of the Islamic banking system among UMK students.

While the Pearson correlation coefficient value is 0.817, which explained the high relationship between background and the level of awareness of the Islamic banking system. H0: There is no significant relationship between the status of education and the level of awareness of the Islamic banking system among University Malaysia Kelantan students. H3: There is a significant relationship between the status of education and the level of awareness of the Islamic banking system among University Malaysia Kelantan students.

From Table 4.7.2, it is shown that there is a significant relationship between educational status and the level of awareness of Islamic banking system among University Malaysia Kelantan students because the p value is 0.000 which is less than significant alpha 0.01 . While Pearson's correlation coefficient value is 0.800 which explained the high relationship between educational status and awareness level of Islamic banking system. H0: There is no significant relationship between product quality and the level of awareness of the Islamic banking system among University Malaysia Kelantan students.

From table 4.7.2, it is shown that there is a significant relationship between product quality and the level of awareness of Islamic banking system among Kelantan students of University of Malaysia because the p-value is 0.000 which is less than the significant alpha of 0.001. While the Pearson Correlation Coefficient value is 0.807 that explained the high relationship between product quality and the level of awareness of the Islamic banking system.

The first hypothesis predicted a positive and significant relationship between knowledge and awareness level of Islamic banking system among students of Universiti Malaysia Kelantan (UMK). Based on the Pearson correlation analysis, the result showed that knowledge has a great impact on the level of awareness of the Islamic banking system among UMK students. The second hypothesis predicted a positive and significant relationship between background and level of awareness of Islamic banking system among Kelantan students of University of Malaysia.

The result of the correlation analysis showed that the background strongly influences the level of awareness of the Islamic banking system among UMK students. Based on Pearson's correlation analysis, the result showed that background strongly influences the level of awareness of Islamic banking system among UMK students. The fourth hypothesis predicted a positive and significant relationship between product quality and the level of awareness of the Islamic banking system among students at the University of Malaysia, Kelantan.

Based on the Pearson correlation analysis, the result showed that product quality has a great impact on the level of awareness of the Islamic banking system among UMK students. In summary, the purpose of this study is to find out the factors that influence the awareness of the Islamic banking system among UMK students. The purpose of this study is to examine "the factors that influence the awareness of UMK students about the Islamic banking system".

Limitations of The Study

Due to this circumstance, it will be impossible to generalize the findings of this study or make broad generalizations about the level of public awareness of the Islamic banking system. Thus, future researchers can target students from all universities in Malaysia to find out their awareness of Islamic banking system. Nevertheless, the researcher will avoid publicly publishing the findings of the study or drawing broad conclusions about the awareness of the Islamic banking system in a non-student community.

Therefore, future researchers can focus on the general public from different backgrounds to get more accurate information about the awareness of Islamic banking system among Malaysians regardless of race or religion. By covering all the countries, the whole survey gives more reliable and accurate results for the Islamic banking awareness survey. The findings show that knowledge, background, educational status, and product quality as independent variables in this study are significantly related to UMK students' awareness of the Islamic banking system.

Moreover, based on the Pearson Correlation test results, it can be concluded that the four independent variables have a strong relationship with the awareness of Islamic banking system among UMK students. The findings from this study may also increase the adoption of Islamic banking among UMK students.
