The main problems in the buildings of the CVM Los Banos campus are the leaking roofs. Several repairs have been conducted but leaks are still a major problem causing flooding in most rooms, including offices, class rooms and laboratory rooms. It is
recommended that alternative measures be conducted including a possible modification of the roofing similar to what was done at the Continuing Education Center.

There is also a need for the construction of a separate building for the Departmeet of Veterinary Clinical Sciences. Currently the department is occupying a smail portion of the building occupied by the DBVS. The new building will house the offices of the DVCS, the department laboratories as well as a model Veterinary Hospital.
There is also a need for the installation of padlocks on doors and grills on all windows for all buildings.
The library is currently in need of additional counter height double face shelves for theses and high open shelves for bound periodicals and circulation books.
EQUIPMENT, INSTRUMENTS AND SUPPLIES
There is an urgent need for an electric generator to serve the power needs of the College during brown-outs. This is especially important because the various departments keep vaccines, drugs, blood, sera, media anci other materials which need to be
refrigerated at all times.
Various laboratories of the different departments; the different stations of the Veterinary Teaching Hospital, as well as administrative offices lack some equipment, instruments and supplies. Among the different equipment needed and equipment for repair are the following:
