HOLY ANGEL UNIVERSITY

Abstract

The research presents the detailed evaluation of the Mass Communication

programs of ^Angeles University Foundation (AUF), Holy Angel University (HAI-D, Systems Plus College Foundation (SPCF) and University of

the Assumption

(UA) will

^provide school

officials with

the data to design programs and offerings that center on

skill

based development. The study also presents to

the educational managers and officials of the schools the strength

and weaknesses

of their A.B. Communication Arts programs in line with

the standards set by the Commission on Higher Education and those set by the local

media industry. This study eearef

^towards

an in

depth analysis

of the

Mass Communication programs

of

selected schools

in

Pampanga to determine whether graduates

meet

language,

skills and

competency requirements

of the

media industry and their respective school progrum

objectives. In analyzng

the information gathered, the researcher used frequency and percentage distributions, mean

and

weighted

Inean. Also for the

data processing,

the

researcher used Pearson's

r to

measure correlation

of

variables.

The findings

have significant

implication on the

current status and

offering of A.B.

Communication

Arts in higher

education

institutions in Pampimga.

Based

on the results, a list of

recommendations was drawn

to

improve and address the problems

identified in

the research.
