Position Title : EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR III
Permanent, SG 28-1 (PCIEERDB-EXED3-1-2010
The Philippine Council for Industry, Energy, and Emerging Technology Research, and Development (PCIEERD), an ISO 9001-certified organization and a recipient of the Philippine Quality Award, is one of the sectoral planning councils of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST). The DOST- PCIEERD has continued to harness and push for the aggressive application of the country’s science and technology (S&T) capabilities by providing continuing support to research and development (R&D), technology transfer, human resource development and institution building, and information dissemination in the industry, energy, emerging technologies.
Qualification Requirements:
Minimum per Civil Service Commission (CSC)
Master’s degree or Certificate in Leadership and Management from CSC
5 years supervisory/management experience
120 hours of supervisory/management learning and development interventions undertaken within the last 5 years
Career Service Executive eligibility (CSEE)/Career Executive Service (CES). In the absence of CES or CSEE eligibility, the candidate must apply for eligibility within one year from assumption to duty.

change.
Additional qualification requirements:
Preferably with a graduate degree in engineering or any basic or applied science, a Ph.D.
degree is an advantage
At least seven (7) years of experience in administrative, technical or professional work, 4 years of which must have shown successful performance of managerial responsibilities
Preferably with experience in either government or private organization/institution engaged in research and development/and/or technology development services e.g. technology transfer.
Knowledge of government regulatory rules e.g. CSC, DBM is an advantage Compensation Package:
Monthly salary at SG 28-1; Representation Allowance, PERA, and other allowable benefits such as those provided under the Magna Carta for Scientists, Engineers, Researchers and other S&T Personnel in Government (RA 8439)

Awards, IP Rights, professional contributions to his/her field and professional affiliations/linkages; and
