Accordingly, the University may take initiatives to meet a public need or respond to calls for public service provision. The graduate programs of UPV operate on a three-month graduate program and follow the university-approved academic calendar. After completing all academic course requirements, students in the Plan B programs must apply for the comprehensive exam.

Students who have passed the entrance exam can enroll in the postgraduate program offered by the Department of Professional Education.
