II. Course Description : Design exercises relating architecture with ethical, political, and cultural concerns

V. Course General Objectives : The student will be able to:
Cognitive:
1. Develop perception in space planning and design
2. Understand, appreciate, and creatively integrate the functional component and spatial dimensions of design
3. Develop skills and ability to analyze and relate user activity, functional and spatial dimensions as parameters of design
4. Distinguish and evaluate the socio-cultural activities of man as the user 5. Comprehend gender spatial differences and their implication to design 6. Translate the user’s needs with technology based solutions to functional and
aesthetically appealing spaces.
7. Compose and illustrate architectural concepts & principles from a given problem Psychomotor:
1. design and develop plans and details as per requirements.
2. use various presentation techniques appealing and easily interpreted in the professional environment.
3. display effective communication skills.
4. apply current architectural trends with the solutions and presentations.
Affective:
1. complete the requirements and display interest and acceptance on the challenges posted by a multi-tasking activity.
