Greetings of Lasallian Peace!

The Integrated School (IS) wants to inform the community of the date adjustments in the academic calendar for the 3rd Quarter for GROW and Grades 1 – 10 and Term 2 for Grades 11 and 12.

The 2nd Quarter Online Progress Report Viewing (G1-G10) is scheduled for February 18, 2022, while the 2nd Quarter PTC for GROW will be from February 14 – 18. The respective case managers will communicate the schedule for the latter. For Grades 1 – 10, the online viewing and consultation with the class adviser and/or subject teacher/s will be from 1 to 4 PM. Then, from February 21 until February 25, 2022, the progress report can be viewed from 6:30 AM to 9 PM through the SERP Portal. Other details about the online learner’s progress report viewing are indicated in Annex A.

Parents/ guardians who will not be available during the scheduled online consultation can request a scheduled meeting with the subject teacher/ class adviser concerned during their CONSULTATION PERIOD or the teacher’s availability. Kindly send the request through email or MS Teams chat of the teachers at least two to three working days before the requested date of consultation/ conference.

The schedules for the 3rd Mid-Quarterly Test (MQT) for both Online and Offline Modality are indicated in Annex B. In addition, the quarterly assessment reminders for Integrated School are indicated in Annex C to ensure smoother and systematic facilitation of the examination.

The schedule for the 3rd Mid-Quarterly Test for Grades 1 – 10 and GROW under the Full Online Learning Modality (FOLM) and Home-Based Offline Learning Modality (HBOLM) is shown in the table below for your reference. The assigned case manager/ GROW teacher will provide the schedule for the GROW students.

The specific schedules of the subjects per day are in Annex B. At the same time, the quarterly assessment reminders for Integrated School are indicated in Annex C to ensure smoother and systematic facilitation of the examination.

Please be reminded to settle your accounts and secure necessary permit/s from the Accounting Office before the indicated examination schedules. The Statement of Accountabilities (SOA) was sent to the DLSAU email of the students. Kindly check the information sent and communicate with the Accounting Office if needed.

3. In changing/ securing the SERP password, consider the following suggestions:

• Use a combination of letters and numbers of upper and lower case in your password.

• Use the same password for your office 365 email to prevent forgetting the password.

• Do not disclose your username and password.

• Check if the Caps Lock is turned on/off and your username is correctly spelled when you sign in.

• When Runtime Error appears, it means that you have entered an invalid username and/or password.

• When Login Error appears, it means that the system is not yet open.

EXAMINATION REMINDERS DURING THE QUARTERLY ASSESSMENT (MQT and QT/ Midterms and Finals) FOR INTEGRATED SCHOOL

BEFORE THE EXAM

With the assistance of the parent/ guardian, the student must ensure the following before the start of the exam.

1. The students must join their RHGP (Grades 1 – 10/ GROW) or Subject (Grades 11 – 12) Teams at least ten (10) minutes before starting the scheduled subject.

2. The student is in a study space free from any distraction that might affect the exam taking.

3. The student is in a study space free from any resource materials such as books, notes, and other hardcopy and soft copy class materials that can be accessed before the exam.

4. The student must wear the proper and prescribed attire as indicated in the student handbook.

5. The student must ensure that the camera is turned on and his/her head until mid-chest is seen.

6. The student is encouraged to wear a headset/ earphones to minimize distraction and be particular with the instruction given by the class adviser/ exam proctor.

7. If needed for Mathematics and Science, a clean piece of paper and pen/pencil is placed for computation.

8. The student must ensure that the gadgets are fully charged and the charger is nearby. In addition, a backup device is encouraged to be prepared should any technical challenges arise before and during the exam.

9. Parents/ guardians are STRICTLY PROHIBITED to be sitting near or beside the student.

10. ***Outstanding accountabilities and exam permits should be furnished before the exam schedule.

DURING THE EXAM

The student should observe the following during the exam

1. The student must open the camera during the exam duration and must refrain from using virtual background. The proctor will utilize the large gallery mode option during the exam duration for monitoring purposes.

2. The student must listen keenly to the instructions being discussed by the class adviser/ exam proctor.

He/ she should raise any clarifications/ concerns before the start of the exams. Only specific concerns about exam accessibility and exam-related matters will be entertained during the exam duration.

3. The student must refrain from opening other websites/ browser tabs for searching aside from the MS Form links provided by the class adviser/ exam proctor for the scheduled subject.

4. The student can utilize the meeting chat of the ongoing scheduled synchronous session the class adviser/ exam proctor set. However, proper student decorum must still be observed when using the meeting chat.

5. The student must refrain from creating other chats with other students during the exam.

6. The student must OBSERVE THE ALLOTTED TIME for each subject in accomplishing the MS Forms.

7. The student must only raise any concern/ query related to the exam to the class adviser/ exam proctor. PARENTS/GUARDIANS MUST NOT GIVE ASSISTANCE RELATED TO THE TEST.

8. The student is only allowed to access the exam ONCE, and there will be NO EXAM RESETS. If an untoward incident arises with justifiable reason, the student must inform the class adviser, and the subject teacher shall immediately be contacted to inform about the situation.

9. The student is expected to observe and uphold the highest academic integrity and honesty standards in all their work throughout the examination period. Hence, he/ she is PROHIBITED to do the following during the exam duration.

a. whispering, giving signs, talking and making unnecessary noise and distracting other test takers; and

b. caught in any act of cheating

10. Unsuccessful and invalid TURNED IN/ SUBMISSION OF ANSWERS WITHOUT JUSTIFIABLE REASON and CHEATING is equivalent to ZERO in a particular test.

11. In the event of some technical challenges and/or justifiable reasons that might prevent the student from taking the test in the scheduled time/ period, the parent/ guardian should send an excuse letter to the class adviser/ exam proctor, copy furnished with the affected subject teacher. A special exam can be scheduled and administered upon agreement with the subject teacher within the day.

AFTER THE EXAM

The student should observe the following after the exam

1. The student must wait for the official adjournment of the class session from the class adviser/ exam proctor before leaving the scheduled online exam session.

2. If there are other concerns/ queries, the student should have addressed them to the class adviser/

exam proctor before leaving the online exam session.
