The Office of the Deputy Executive Director- Information Group (ODED-IG) of the Philippine Council for Industry, Energy, Emerging Technology Research, and Development (PCIEERD) is looking for a result driven, analytical, detail oriented and resourceful individual to fill the vacancy for:
Science Research Specialist II Contract of Service
SG 16 – Php 45,780.00/mo Qualification:
• Must be a graduate of Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication, BS Broadcast Communication, Journalism, other related courses;
• With at least one (1) year of relevant experience;
• With at least four (4) hours of relevant training;
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and coordination skills;
• Must be good in oral and written communication;
• Knowledgeable in preparation of presentation, spreadsheet, databases, data mining;
• Must be a team player with good working attitude, commitment and dedication;
• Able to multi-task and work under pressure with minimum supervision.
Job Description:
• Develops the overall layout and production design of PCIEERD promotional needs, such as logos, templates, brochures, flyers, infographics, or imagery for print and digital uses including social media cards, website graphics, banners ads;
• Participates and provides technical support in the activities of the steering and working committees of DOST-PCIEERD’s special event (forum/workshops, webinars, various exhibits);
• Takes the lead in the preparation of PPT decks for key officials and events;
• Works closely with the editorial team in the production of PCIEERD Annual Report, Policy Briefs, Compendia, and similar publications;
• Develops product illustrations of PCIEERD giveaway items, such as t-shirt, jacket, planner, calendar;
• Develops vector illustrations for motion graphic designer/animator, if needed;
• Edits and key visuals fit for the digital channels;
• Reviews final layouts and suggests improvements if needed;
• Travels in different location shoot if needed;
• Perform other duties of a regular or special nature as assigned.
