Gender Sensitivity Training

This training aims to introduce gender concepts, and laws related to gender and development. It seeks to identify gender issues and propose possible solutions, as well as promote gender sensitivity and gender equity.

The Office of Extension and Community Service (OECS) is a unit under the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs. As a unit mandated to conduct training, continuing education and community outreach programs, the OECS can serve as a broker, coordinator and organizer of a particular training program in partnership with academic or non-academic units from within or outside the University.
On the other hand, the Office of Gender and Anti-Sexual Harassment is a unit under the Office of the Chancellor. When the request for training is not channeled through OECS, the OGASH implements them according to its mandate to undertake Gender and Development initiatives for the University.
