Dr. Masalinto earned her Master of Education (major in Library Science) degree at the Philippine Normal University and her Doctor of Philosophy major in Educational Management at the University of Perpetual Help System-Laguna. Currently, she serves as the Chief Librarian of the University of Perpetual Help-Dr. Jose G. Tamayo Medical University in Binan, Laguna, Philippines for 15 years, and she is also an ISO internal auditor and a PACUCOA accreditor. As an LIS professor, she was handling indexing and abstracting, cataloging, library management, and reference sources and services subjects.

Ms. Prosperoso works for the World Health Organization Western Pacific Regional office since 2007, being the lead librarian to coordinate with librarians, IT and national health officers of countries for the project management and development of the Western Pacific Region Index Medicus. She graduated as an academic scholar from Centro Escolar University Manila with a degree in Education, major in Library Science and passed the 1st professional board examination for librarians both in 1992. She also earned units covering public management courses from the University of the Philippines Open University from 2002 to 2008.

Mr. Yap is currently the Instructional Media Services Coordinator of De La Salle University Libraries. He finished Bachelor of Library and Information Science, cum laude, in 2006 and Master of Library and Information Science in 2010 from the UP School of Library and Information Studies (UP SLIS).

Dr. Quijano is a faculty member of the College of Teacher Education of Benguet State University. She is currently the chairperson of the Department of Related Programs where Library and Information Science is included. She finished her Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Library Science and Master of Arts in Library Science. She also completed her PhD in Educational Management.

Ms. Pascua is a faculty member of the University of the Philippines Diliman School of Library and Information Studies (UP SLIS). She finished her Bachelor of Library and Information Science degree at the UP SLIS and her Master of Science in Computer Science degree at the University of the Philippines College of Engineering.

Mr. Florese is an undergraduate student of the Bachelor of Library and Information Science program at the University of the Philippines Diliman School of Library and Information Studies (UP SLIS).

Jonathan D. Isip

Mr. Isip is a graduate of the University of the Philippines School of Library and Information Studies (UP SLIS) with a degree of Bachelor of Library and Information Science, magna cum laude. He previously worked as a digital literacy advocate and trainer, and as a digital preservation consultant working primarily with photographs. He is currently a faculty member of UP SLIS, teaching archives and ICT subjects.

Ms. Santos is an assistant professor and the graduate program coordinator at the UP School of Library and Information Studies (UP SLIS). She obtained both her Bachelor of Library and Information Science and Master of Library and Information Science from the UP SLIS. She placed 9th in the 20th Librarian Licensure Examination held in 2011.

Ms. Golfo is a student in the master’s program in archival at the University of Manitoba. She is on leave from her position as Assistant Professor in the UP School of Library and Information Studies (UP SLIS) where she teaches archival studies. She was the 2015 recipient of the Oliver Wendell Holmes Travel Award.

Ms. Obille is the current dean of the UP School of Library and Information Studies (UP SLIS).

She finished her Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy degree at the UP College of Social Sciences and Philosophy and her Master of Library and Information Science degree at the UP SLIS.

Iyra S. Buenrostro

Ms. Buenrostro obtained both her Bachelor of Library and Information Science (cum laude) and Master of Library and Information Science (with specialization in Archival Studies) from the University of the Philippines Diliman in 2005 and 2010, respectively. She is a full time faculty member at the UP School of Library and Information Studies (UP SLIS) since 2006 and has taught courses on LIS and Archival Studies. At present, she is pursuing her Ph.D. in Information Studies at Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information, Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore where she is a recipient of NTU Research Scholarship.

Ms. Garcia is currently a cataloging librarian at the De La Salle University Libraries. She has 12 years of professional experience and in her previous jobs she was a head librarian, a library consultant, and an associate professor in LIS teaching library and information management, cataloging and classification, collection management, information sources and services, and information technology in libraries. She finished her Bachelor of Library and Information Science in 2004 and Master of Library and Information Science in 2009 from the UP School of Library and Information Studies (UP SLIS).
