This research undertaking, which used the descriptive method, was conducted primariiy
to
determine the library users' needs and their satisfactionwith
library collection,staff
seru--ices and physical fbcilities.It
involved 420 participants who were predominantly fernale, single and in the 17-18 age group. The questionnaire was utilizedlor
data collection and processed through the SPSS.Weighted mean and Spearman's rho u'ere used
for
its statistical analyses. Findings show that the participants were satisfied or slightly satisfiedwith
thelibrary
collection,library
staff and library services. However, the participants indicated very satisfiedwith
the physicalfacilities.
The CollegeofNursing
had the highest levei of satisfactir:n while rvith the College of Inf'ormation andCommunication Technologv the least satisfaction.
It
must also be pointed out that there rruas no significant relationship between the library users" frequency ofvisit
to thelibrary
and their satisfaction with library collection" staf'f, sen'ices and physicalfacilities
except with the Reserve books and Lending services. However, the said c.orrelation was negative which implies that as the participants frequencyofvisits
incr6ases their satisfaction decreases. Toachieve the aim of this research undertaking" the suggestions of the researcher herself and the
library
userswill
be integrated in apriiner in order to create a positive impact on the improvement
of
the perlbrmance of
