INVITATION TO BID

A. The MSU- Iligan Institute of Technology through its Bids and Awards Committee invites interested suppliers to apply for eligibility and to bid for the hereunder project:

LOT 1 – for Expansion of Admin. Building Annex Phase 1-B

Supply of labor and materials in the following scope of works for the Expansion of Administration Building Annex (Phase 1 – B), 2nd floor:

Scope of Works:

1. Installation of 3.5mm thick hardilite ceiling board on light metal frames with 100mm anchor bolts, blind rivets and 25mm x 25mm wood moulding painted with flat latex finish (white).

Ceiling A at Office space with design = 26.80 sq.m. (estimated) Ceiling B at Hallway, plain = 44.16 sq.m. (estimated)

No. of days to complete: 25 working days TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

1. Actual site inspection is highly recommended to get actual measurements and totality of work.

2. Secure site inspection certificate from PPD.

3. Contractor to supply labor and materials and should have appropriate tools, equipment, technical know-how, supervision necessary to complete the project.

4. Submit quotation to include:

- Cost per scope of works - Number of days to complete

5. Coordinate with PPD before the start of the project.

6. Have filed Accreditation from MSU-IIT Procurement office.

ABC for Lot 1 ………..PhP113,705.00 Lot 2 – for Office of the Admission, 2nd floor, Admin Bldg.

Supply of Labor and Materials in the Replacement of existing window at Office of the Admission , 2nd floor, Admin. Building:

SCOPE OF WORKS:

1. Removal of existing sliding and fixed window glasses with inner frames.

2. Installation of 6mm thick fixed bronze glass window on 45mm x 100mm tubular analoc frames. (0.62m x 4.00m)

3. Installation of 6mm thick one way mirror sliding glass window on 25mm x 45mm sliding caja frame on 45mm x 100mm tubular analoc frames with lock and keys.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

1. Actual site inspection is highly recommended to get actual measurements and totality of work.

2. Secure site inspection certificate from PPD.

3. Contractor to supply labor and materials and should have appropriate tools, equipment, technical know-how, supervision necessary to complete the project.

4. Submit quotation to include:

ABC for Lot 2 ……….………PhP31,206.00 Lot 3 – for installation/demolition/replacement at room 331, CSM

Supply of Labor and materials in the installation / demolition / replacement of the following Scope of work at room 331, College of Science and Mathematics:

SCOPE OF WORKS:

1. Demolition / removal of all affected areas in the replacement of ceiling.

2. Installation of 3.5mm thick hardilite ceiling board on light metal frames painted with white latex finish.

3. Provision and installation of high quality electrical wirings, lightings and fixtures in accordance to the plan and specifications provided and coordinate with PPD for the proper installation. It includes installation of 1 set high quality twin bulb emergency LED light. All materials installed must refer to PPD to ensure its quality.

Estimated Number of Days of Completion: 10 working days Terms and Conditions:

1. Actual site inspection with coordination of PPD for the clarification /verification of the scope of work.

2. Secure site inspection certificate from PPD.

3. Coordinate with PPD before starting and after the work to be done.

4. Submit quotation that includes manpower requirement and schedule of activities, and list of materials that are used. Cost per scope of work.

5. Job clearing every work done and put safety signage during work.

6. Have filed accreditation from MSU-IIT Procurement Office.

ABC for Lot 3 ………PhP140,000.00 Lot 4 – for installation /demolition/replacement at room 302, CSM

Supply of labor and materials in the installation/demolition/replacement of the following Scope of works at room 302, College of Science and Mathematics.

SCOPE OF WORKS:

1. Demolition /removal of all affected areas in the replacement of ceiling.

2. Installation of 3.5mm thick hardilite ceiling board on light metal frames painted with white flat latex finish.

3. Provision and installation of high quality electrical wirings, lightings and fixtures in accordance to the plan and specifications provided and coordinate with PPD for the proper installation. It Includes installation of 1 set high quality 2-way bulb emergency LED light. All materials installed must refer to PPD to ensure its quality.

ABC for Lot 4 ……….……….PhP284,900.00

B. Secure Checklist of bidding documents from the BAC Secretariat Office after payment of the non-refundable bidder’s fee. Accomplish the duly certified requirements in three (3) copies, and submit the same at the BAC Secretariat Office on or before the deadline set.

C. Bid Related Schedules:

D.Bid opening shall be on July 4, 2014, 2:00PM at the Legal Office. Bids will be opened in the presence of the Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend. Late bids shall not be accepted.

E. The MSU-IIT reserves the right to review the qualifications of a selected bidder, subject to technical and production criteria, reject any or all bids, waive any formality or defect therein and accept the offer considered most advantageous to MSU-IIT.

F. Bidders should have completed, within 2 years from the date of submission and receipt of bids, a contract similar to the Project, and equivalent to at least fifty percent (50%) of the ABC (For the procurement of Non-expendable Supplies), Or contract that is similar to this Project, equivalent to at least twenty-five percent (25%) of the ABC (For the procurement of Expendable Supplies).

G. The MSU-IIT reserves the right to accept or reject any Bid, to annul the bidding process, and to reject all Bids at any time prior to contract awards without thereby incurring any liability to the affected Bidder or Bidders.
