This seminar-workshop serves as a venue to introduce and orient
participants in the area of gender and development research. This can also be an opportunity to discuss possible research ideas, as well as important research questions in the field.

The Office of Extension and Community Service (OECS) is a unit under the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs. As a unit mandated to conduct training, continuing education and community outreach programs, the OECS can serve as a broker, coordinator and organizer of a particular training program in partnership with academic or non-academic units from within or outside the University.
On the other hand, the Office of Gender and Anti-Sexual Harassment is a unit under the Office of the Chancellor. When the request for training is not channeled through OECS, the OGASH implements them according to its mandate to undertake Gender and Development initiatives for the University.
