Please be reminded that it is a MUST that for campus entry to be granted, the student and parent/ guardian are vaccinated and proof of vaccination is required. However, for those who are not eligible due to non- clearance from physician, an RT-PCR Test conducted within 24 to 48 hrs. is required to be granted access inside DLSAU. This should be done in a weekly basis if it is warranted by the schedule as stated in the circular. For the rehearsal scheduled on July 4 – 5, 2022, and the Completion/ Graduation rites scheduled on July 8 – 9, 2022, one RT-PCR Test will cover this period.

REMINDERS and FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQs) about the Completion/ Graduation Rites

The Grades 6 and 10, and Grade 12 are expected to follow the following reminders to ensure smooth flow and celebration of the completion/ graduation rites. Other reminders are included below in the frequently asked questions (FAQs).

1. Observe Lasallian decorum at all times.

2. Face masks must be worn throughout the entire event.

3. At least one-meter safe distance must be observed between individuals.

4. Participants must be seated at their assigned seats only.

5. Handshake or other forms of physical contact is discouraged.

6. Follow the indicated attire shared during the parent/ guardian consultation and orientation.

7. For male, observe proper haircut and if highlights exist, it should be considered as a natural hair color.

8. For female, see to it your hair does not obstruct your line of vision and if highlights exist, it should be considered as a natural hair color.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) Answer

• What is the difference between completion rites and graduation rites?

Completion rites is the year-end activity for Grades 6 and 10 that marks the completion of Lasallian students on their elementary and junior high school. They will receive certificate of completion. On the other hand, graduation rites ANNEX C

mark the commencement of the 12-year basic education. They will receive graduation diploma.

• When is the completion rites and graduation rites?

Completion rites will be held on July 8, 2022, while the graduation rites, also known as commencement exercises, will be held on July 9, 2022.

• How much is the completion/

graduation fee? Kindly refer to Annex A.

• When is deadline in the payment of

the completion/ graduation fees? Kindly refer to Annex A.

• How many parent/ guardian will be allowed to accompany a completer/

graduate?

Only one parent or one designated guardian shall be permitted inside the venue (IAC) to accompany a completer or candidate for graduation. Only the parent with the “Parent Ribbon” will be allowed inside the IAC. If other companions are present, they will stay in the designated waiting area.

• Is it required to be vaccinated to be allowed entrance in the university for the pictorial, rehearsal, and completion/ graduation rites?

YES. Proof of vaccination, at least one dose of vaccine, should be brought to be allowed for scheduled in-person events.

• Will there be a designated make-up artist during the pictorial?

NO. The pictorial service will not include make-up service. Hence, it is expected that the students must come to school fully-made up and ready for photo-shoot?

• What is the required items that the students must bring during scheduled pictorial?

The students must bring during the scheduled rehearsal:

• Vaccination card

• Water container/ bottle/ tumbler with water

• Snacks/ food (optional)

• Extra face mask

• Hygiene kit, including alcohol and/ or wipes

• What attire must be brought for the pictorial?

There will be two shots included in the graduation/

completion shots which are formal attire and sash attire (for Grades 6 and 10) and toga (for Grade 12). Hence, the top should be white polo for boys and white blouse/ dress for girls for Grades 6 and

10. For Grade 12, “Sunday’s Best” or formal attire of chosen color is applicable.

• What time are we expected to be in the school during the completion/

graduation rites?

It is expected that all attendees must be in the university in the indicated assembly time. Kindly refer to the updated schedule.

• What must be worn by the parent/

guardian during the completion/

graduation rites?

The parent/ guardian accompanying the students must wear either smart casual or semi-formal attire, appropriate for the ceremony.

• Is the university parking space available during the day of the completion/ graduation rites?

YES. The parking space will be available in a first- come-first serve basis. Vehicles will not be accommodated inside the university space will be advices to park in the designated area along Victoneta Avenue.

• Can the scheduled pictorial and rehearsal be in one date?

NO. Unfortunately, due to the demand for the photos to be included in the presentation on the day of the completion/ graduation, the pictorial will be scheduled earlier.
