III. SYSTEMATIC AND EFFECTIVE PROCEDURES

Department of Extension and Training Organizational Structure

The UERC provides direction for research and extension at IFSU and coordinates the research and extension programs and activities of the University. It operates as a policy-making body and as an advisory to the University President on matters of research and extension. Specifically, the UERC shall:

1. Determine or recommend whenever appropriate, policies, standards, and rules relating to planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of university research and extension programs,

2. Periodically review university research and extension thrusts/directions, 3. Review and recommend policies concerning research and extension

personnel,

4. Act as reviewers of all research and extension proposals, recommend them for funding and implementation. A University Extension and Research Council Review (UERCR) is scheduled for this purpose,

5. Serve as a channel of communication among the different units of the University on major developments in research and extension,

6. Serve as a forum for discussion of issues on research and extension,

7. Advise the University administration on research and extension matters

2. Implementation

In the implementation of seminars and training as part of the extension

program, one of the things to consider is the creation of a solid team composed

of the faculty and staff of CCJE POTIA CAMPUS to facilitate the planned

community activities. Also, the approval of the IFSU and the necessary

documents like MOA (Memorandum of Agreement) between the institution

(IFSU) and the Municipality of Alfonso Lista under the leadership of Mayor

Edralin Alipio.

 The seminar is all about the confident of the students on how they can boost their confidence.

The seminar has lots of knowledge that you can learn.

 This program help us student on how to manage ourselves and on how to develop ourselves.

It gives us more knowledge and it also help us to boost our self confident. It is helpful especially to us student to adopt more lessons in this program for us to prevent some risk and vulnerable to anti-social behavior specially this time of pandemic.

 The discussion was good. There are points which I really agree on especially in the comparison of a child to other child. In this discussion, I just realized that I’m not really aware of myself. 4. Privileges, Incentives, and Certificates Privileges and Incentives for Extensionists

According to the University Extension Manual to motivate and encourage the faculty, the non-teaching personnel, and the students to conduct and be involved in extension activities, incentives, privileges, and awards are in place.

Permanent or temporary faculty members involved in extension activities shall

credited units or compensatory time off (CTO). Units will be credited the next semester

after the submission of the accomplishment/ terminal report.
