CONCLUSION
The Web-Map of Manila is a dynamic map that shows the various tourist spots in the city. The map remains dynamic as the user can interact with the map by clicking on map objects to obtain information or using search to search for the necessary information. The System Administrator who has access to editing functions (add, modify, delete) can also update street names, object types and their corresponding colors.
It will be easier to search for information and navigate around the city, as the company's location can be seen on the map. It would have been better if the searched company was zoomed in and placed in the middle of the map. Web-Map System can be accessed by many people as it is online.
It provides a detailed map of the city of Manila, including its districts, sub-districts and streets. You can view information about the various map objects on the map by clicking on them. The map itself was created using scalar vector graphics that do not pixelate even when enlarged by different percentages.
A system administrator who can add, edit, delete map structures (city types such as cultural landmark, church, hotel, restaurant, etc.) as well as corresponding map properties (structure name, city type, district, subdistrict, street, description, web links, image). MAP – Street routes on the map could also be plotted to ensure street location accuracy. This would improve the view function as far as searching for street names is concerned.
MAP STRUCTURES – The representation of the different institution types could also have been done with the help of different forms. It would have been better if the pictures were shown in the form of a filmstrip. VIEW FUNCTION – It would have been better if the institution being searched for was zoomed in and placed in the middle of the map.
