This SBB Addendum No. 01 dated 23 March 2023, for the Project: “Purchase and Delivery of Professional Books” is issued to clarify, modify or amend items in the Bidding Documents. Accordingly, this shall form an integral part of said Documents (Note: For this SBB and a better understanding of its contents, the following rules shall apply: (a) Double Strike out – denotes deletion, and (b) Underline with yellow high- lights – implies inclusion or new item/requirement).

PARTICULARS CLARIFICATION / AMENDMENT
Based on the Discussion during the Pre-bid Conference and upon confirmation by the Technical Working Group and the End- User Unit conducted last 23 March 2023 @ 10:00 am for this Project, the following are the revisions:
1. On the item no. 15-Sealing and Marking of Bids under Section II, page 11 of the Philippine Bidding Document, revision are as follows:
15. Sealing and Marking of Bids
Each Bidder shall submit one three (3) copy copies of the first and second components of its Bid labeled as original copy, copy 1 and copy 2.
The Procuring Entity may request additional hard copies and/or electronic copies of the Bid. However, failure of the Bidders to comply with the said request shall not be a ground for disqualification.
If the Procuring Entity allows the submission of bids through online submission or any other electronic means, the Bidder shall submit an electronic copy of its Bid, which must be digitally signed. An electronic copy that cannot be opened or is corrupted shall be considered non-responsive and, thus, automatically disqualified.
