5.3.2 Recommendations for Future Research
Considering some of the limitations of this study, the researcher recommends the following for further research:
1) This research was limited to only 30 sixth-graders in one of the Lower Secondary Schools in western Bhutan. Thus, a similar study may be undertaken with a larger sample from other regions within the country that would help substantiate and ensure the reliability of the conclusions drawn from this study.
2) This study was constrained by time and was conducted within a time frame of a little over a month. Therefore, to acquire more reliable and significant results further research over a longer period is recommended.
3) Further similar studies may be carried out by including other grade levels in different schools located in different geographical locations within the country.
4) Similar study focusing on improving other language skills like listening, reading and writing may also be carried out so that challenges confronted by ESL teachers in Bhutan could be deciphered.
5) To allow a comparative study, this research may be replicated to examine the efficacy of TTV at different levels of schools like primary, lower secondary, middle secondary, higher secondary schools, and colleges.
