Objective : The objectives of this research were:
1. To study prevalence of depression in HIV/AIDS patient, members of Power of Love club, Laemsing Hospital, Chantaburi Province.
2. To study the difference mean of depression score with personal factors in HIV/
AIDS patient.
3. To study the correlation of personal factors, quality of life, happiness in life, and social support with depression in HIV/AIDS patient.
Material and Method : This study was Descriptive correlation research, cross sectional study.
The sample included were members of HIV club, purposive sampling included 103 cases for study. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, Compare Means Independent-Sample T Test and Pearson’s Product Moment Correlation Coefficient.
Results : The study included male 53.4 percent, female 46.6 percent, age between 30-39 years was 60.2 percent (mean 38.44). Marital status was couple 54.4 percent, religion was Buddhist 96.1 percent, education was primary 81.6 percent, occupation was employee 68.0 percent, and monthly income was less than 5000 baht 82.5 percent. The time of HIV infection between 5-7 years 33.0 percent (mean 5.85), time of membership in Power of Love club 3-5 years 53.4 percent (mean 3.53), time of treatment with antiretroviral drug was 2-4 years 54.4 percent (mean 2.8). The prevalence of depression in the sample was 7.8 percent. Mild depression was 5.8 percent, moderate and severe depressions were equal at 1 percent, no very severe depression. Quality of life was moderate 60.2 percent, Happiness in life was less than general people 63.1 percent, and Social support was moderate 80.6 percent.

Conclusion : There were no significant difference mean of depression scores (Compare Means Independent-Sample T Test) in the personal factors. The correlation by Pearsonûs Product Moment Correlation Coefficient in the time of treatment with antiretroviral drug, quality of life, social support, happiness in life were negative correlation with depression at a statistically significant level (r = -.272, -.491, -.271, -.274, p < .01 by sequence).
