ORGANIZATIONAL COMMUNICATION: ISS RESOLUTION CO., LTD.. INDEPENDENT STUDY ADVISOR: ASST. PROF. JARUW AN CHARINTRANONT, Ph.D. 82 pp.

The purpose of this research is to study the effective channels for organizational

communication: A case study ofISS Resolution Co, Ltd. It was hypothesized that the differences of communication channels affected the effectiveness in organizational communication. The effective communication in this research means the speed of receiving messag.es and the understanding of the received messages. The scope of the research is to study the downward communication from management to practitioner level.

The participants in this research were 50 ISS Resolution Co., Ltd employees.

Questionnaires and in-depth interviews were used as a mean for data collecting. The data was analyzed by using percentage.

It was found that the three fastest communication ehannels are 1) group meeting (both in Thai and English) 2) internal phone call in Thai 3) email (both in Thai and English). The three most understandable communication channels are 1) group meeting in Thai 2) announcement board in Thai 3) email in Thai. And the three most satisfactory communication channels are 1) email in Thai 2) email in English 3) group meeting in Thai. It is concluded that the most effective channels for organizational communication, particularly in ISS Resolution Co., Ltd., are group meeting in Thai and email in Thai.
