Abstract:
The population of Georgia is rapidly growing. Many of the people are living in houses built outside the municipal sewer network. Since 1985 the State of Georgia has required many individuals to hire soil classifiers to determine the suitability of soils for on-site waste disposal. The continued building boom and limited number of trained persons has many of the soil classifiers looking for new hires. This is a discussion of what the soil classifer is looking for and what is available in hew hires in the soil classification field.
