"happy citizens." Co-production also results in customer's happiness and well-being. The fourth initial code for this theme is "safety and security." It also improves the feeling of security in society in times of crisis. The third theme comprises fifteen initial codes. These initial codes are (1) Accountability, (2) Align common goals, (3) Assigning roles and goals to everyone, (4) Better services, (5) Bring up ideas, (6) Building strong communities, (7) Effective use of resources, (8) Foster trust and collaboration between government and public, (9) Increased performance, (10) It reduces stress on both parties, (11) Learning from each other, (12) String relationships, (13) Supporting each other, (14) Value addition in products and services, (15) Working in harmony. The first initial code for this theme is "accountability." Co-production results in shared accountability between the consumer and the producers. The second initial code for this theme is "align common goals." It allows both of the parties to keep their goals aligned. The third initial code for this theme is "assigning roles and goals to everyone." It gives both, customers and producers a role and a goal to accomplish. The fourth initial code for this theme is "better services." It leads to better service in terms of quality, performance, and satisfaction. The fifth initial code for this theme is "bring up ideas." Co-production allows a variety of ideas to be brought up. The sixth initial code for this theme is "building strong communities." One of the participants shares that, "Co-production can help build stronger communities and develops citizenship." The seventh initial code for this theme is "effective use of resources." Co-production can help ensure that resources are used to develop the services that people really want. The eighth initial code for this theme is "foster trust and collaboration between the government and public." One of the participants mentioned, "The Co-production model of public services is essential in today’s world as it fosters trust and collaboration between the Government and the Public." The ninth initial code for this theme is "increased performance." Co-production also leads to increased performance and productivity in services provided. The tenth initial code for this theme is "it reduces stress on both parties." Co- production is a joint venture, and it reduces stress on both parties. The eleventh initial code for this theme is "learning from each other." One of the participants shared, "Organization and
citizens working together can learn from each other." The twelfth initial code for this theme is
"strong relationships." Through co-productions, strong relationships are developed between the consumers and the producers. The thirteenth initial code for this theme is "supporting each other." The customers and the organizations work in harmony and support one another through co-production the fourteenth initial code for this theme is "value addition in products and services." In the words of one of the participants, "Adding value through providing products or services in response to real needs." The fifteenth initial code for this theme is "working in harmony." Co-production results in the creation of harmony between the consumers and the producers.
