With reference to Article (32) of the Implementing Regulation of The Cooperative Insurance Companies Control Law issued by Royal Decree No.
(M/32) dated 02/06/1424H, which stipulates: ”The Company and the Insurance and Reinsurance Services Provider shall comply with the working hours specified by SAMA at its head office and branches in the Kingdom”.
Accordingly, all companies working within the insurance sector shall adhere to the following:
First: Working hours during the holy month of Ramadan :
The daily working hours for public dealing during Ramadan this year are from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Second: Eid al-Fitr holiday:
This year’s Eid Al-Fitr holiday shall start at the end of the working day of Monday 26/09/1444H corresponding to 17/04/2023. Operations shall be resumed on Tuesday 05/10/1444H corresponding

Third: Eid al-Adha holiday:
This year's Eid al-Adha holiday shall start at the end of working day of Thursday 04/12/1444H corresponding to 22/06/2023. Operations shall be resumed on Sunday 14/12/1444H corresponding to 02/07/2023 (according to Umm Al-Qura calendar).
Fourth: Health insurance services and claims:
Insurance companies and insurance support service providers that provide health insurance services must ensure the continuity of operations in health insurance claims departments throughout both Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha holidays in order to meet the needs of the insureds and beneficiaries of the insurance coverage.
