Course Description:

It stresses the hospital health service and health utilities and effective factors and the way of controlling these services.

Course objectives:

 Identifying concepts and theories related to health service application.

 Defining the positive and negative effect of application control.

 Defining the roles of health service representatives and their relation with health.

 Casting light on methods and strategy adopted to lesson health service congestion.

Scientific contents:

 Introduction to the subject.

 Concepts, different and theories for health service application.

 Crowdedness and great pressure methods in health services.

 The way of controlling the application of health service.

 Adopting the international criteria to control the application of health service.

 Limiting methods and strategies of health service application.

 Facilitating methods and strategies of health services.

Course Outcomes

By the end of this course, students should be able to:

 Understand the definitions and theories applied in health care.

 Know the way of controlling and lessening the misuse of services in health care.

 Find the way of using medical statistics related to application.

 Develop the use of computer for analytical studies in health service.

 Adopt health information in convenient decision taking.

 Respect patients and appreciating their needs for health service.

 Shoulder responsibilities to present decision taking techniques.

 Care in development and duty commitment and work responsibilities.

 Adopting analytical and communication skills to improve work environment.

 Adopting convenient communication channels with service representatives and patients to understand the health service methods.
