Decree No. (23) of 2015 Forming the

Free Zone Council in the Emirate of Dubai¹ ــــــــــــــــــــــــــ

We, Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Ruler of Dubai,

After perusal of:

Law No. (13) of 2015 Establishing the Free Zone Council in the Emirate of Dubai , Do hereby issue this Decree.

Formation of the FZC Article (1)

The Free Zone Council in the Emirate of Dubai is hereby formed under the chairmanship of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, and with the membership of:

1. the Secretary General of the Free Zone Council in the Emirate of Dubai, as member;

2. the Governor of the Dubai International Financial Centre, as member;

3. the Chairman of the Ports, Customs, and Free Zone Corporation, as member;

4. the Director General of the Dubai Creative Clusters Authority, as member;

5. the Director General of the Dubai World Trade Centre Authority, as member;

6. the Executive Chairman of the Dubai Aviation City Corporation, as member;

7. the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Meydan City Corporation, as member;

8. the Vice Chairman of the International Humanitarian City Authority, as member;

9. the Vice Chairman of Dubai Healthcare City Authority, as member;

10. the Director General of the Dubai Municipality, as member; and

11. the Director General of the State Security Department in Dubai, as member.

Commencement and Publication Article (2)

This Decree comes into force on the day on which it is issued, and will be published in the Official Gazette.
