Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease

Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) is a chronic digestive disorder. GERD occurs when stomach acid or stomach content, flow back to mouth trough esophagus.

Following a healthy lifestyle can prevent GERD

Exercise at least 3 or 4 times weekly Avoid smoking

Elevate your bed 6 to 9 inches Avoid lying down after meal for 3 hours

Frequent small meals through the day Sit-down while eating and try to be relaxed
