1- Jouf University is committed to providing all academic and non- academic rights to students. The University Agency for Educational Affairs has established a list of the student's grievance regulations and procedures to ensure that students enjoy all their rights and perform all their academic and non- academic duties. The University hopes that these rules will be an important addition in the university's endeavor to maintain an educational environment characterized by the control of public behavior, commitment to virtuous ethics, scientific excellence and the preservation of rights for university students and employees. The grievance list consists of 13 articles.

2- The Deanship of Student Affairs at Jouf University has set up the executive regulations for student complaints. The complaint is an expression of dissatisfaction with the aspect of services and student activities offered to students.

Complaints may relate to the following Items:

- Limitations in administrative procedures

- Shortfalls resulting from failure to meet the obligations and regulations for services and student activities

- Failure to make a decision above within a reasonable period of time.

Executive Regulations for the Complaints Committee

§ The complaint:

It is an expression of dissatisfaction with an aspect of the student services and activities that are provided by students and received by the Deanship of the college; complaints may relate to the following:

1. Deficiencies in administrative procedures.

2. Deficiency resulting from failure to fulfill obligations and regulations for student services and activities provided by the college.

3. Failure to take a decision in the foregoing within a reasonable period of time.

§ Objectives

1. That the Deanship of Pharmacy college have an administrative system in dealing with student complaints ensures the confidentiality of the complaint.

2. The student is not harmed because of his complaint and the complaint is resolved quickly.

3. Every student has the right to submit any complaint if he is not satisfied with the services and activities student affairs provided by the Deanship of the college.

Once the student submits the complaint, it will be verified seriousness and malicious and anonymous complaints will not be seen.

4. The Deanship of the college aims to reach the provision of student services and activities the highest level therefore encourages students to submit any complaint to seek to resolve it and reduce any impact negative for students.

5. Student complaints procedures include student feedback about services and activities student affairs provided by the Deanship of the college, so this process an important resource to improve student services and activities provided by the Deanship of the college.

§ Time limit for submitting and examining student complaints:

1. The complaint must be submitted within ten business days of the problem occurring, some exceptions, special cases depending on the nature of the problem.

The complaint must be filed electronically as soon as possible.

On the student complaints page of the Deanship of Student Affairs, after filling out the special form on the website of the Deanship of the college.

2. The complaint will be examined within ten working days, and this timeframe must be adhered to, if it is felt.

3. The complainant investigator needs more time to examine it, so he must provide justification to the applicant with a report.

§ Representation of the complainant students and their accompanying:

1. There is a direct relationship between the Deanship of the college and Student Affairs, so it is expected that it will be established

The system should encourage students to represent themselves in all stages of handling complaints, this increases students' life experience and they are more capable of express what they are suffering from, and the student may accompany his guardian or any member of the council Student advisor when presenting a problem, he is facing within the university.

4. Given that the method of dealing with student complaints is a bylaw of the Deanship of the college to raise suffering or solving students' problems.

§ Organizational structure and functions

§ Procedures for handling students' complaints

The first stage (informal stage)

Submitting a complaint: A complaint is dealt with informally as soon as it is submitted and in the nearest place. Because it occurs (if possible) and the appropriate person deals with the problem, and here the student may submit his complaint orally or in writing to the responsible person who records and examines this complaint.

Phase 1 investigations: The Student Complaints Office examines students

The problem, and it may clarify matters related to faculty members and staff as well students, and completes his assignment within ten working days from the date of submitting the complaint.

Results of the first phase investigations: After completing the investigation, the Student Complaints Office has the right to accept the complaint partially, totally, or rejecting it, and accordingly, he can take one of the following actions:

1. Submit an apology to the student.

2. Refund any sums the student may have incurred.

3. Request to amend regulations and procedures.

The competent department is expected to implement any recommendations arising from the first stage investigations, notify the Dean of the Deanship of Student Affairs, and notify the student in writing.

Clarifies the results of the phase investigations.

Submitting the complaint for the second stage:

1. Second stage investigations:

1. After receiving the student’s complaint and the attached documents, the Student Complaints Office shall notify the student in writing within ten working days, then the work team will review the complaint to make sure It falls within the specified framework for complaints, and this may require discussion with the student submitting the complaint to determine the nature of the problem and to find out what is acceptable to solve the problem, and the Student Complaints Office makes sure.

2. 4. If the same complaint is repeated more than once, it will be validated.

Results of the second stage investigations: After the investigation is completed, the Student Complaints Committee submits a report. students about what was reached regarding the student's complaint, To the Dean of the Deanship of Affairs

These recommendations include accepting the complaint in whole or in part, or rejecting it, and upon acceptance of the complaint, the team work and the Dean of the Deanship of Student Affairs can take one or more of the following decisions:

1. Offer an apology to the complainant.

2. Refund any sums incurred by the complainant.

3. Request to amend regulations or procedures.

Third Stage (Complaints Appeal Committee)

Basis for Appealing the Complaint: The student submitting the complaint may appeal to the Dean of the Deanship of Student Affairs against the second stage decision of handling the complaint in the following cases:

1- The existence of improper procedures in the second stage investigations.

2- The emergence of new information that was not available in the second phase investigations.

§ Appeal request:

Any student wishing to make an appeal to his complaint must submit his application to an office student complaint to be submitted to the Dean of the Deanship of Student Affairs, and the Dean of the Deanship of Student Affairs determining an internal appeal committee at the Deanship of Student Affairs within ten working days of the second phase decision with the student’s approval of the committee’s decision explaining the completion of the second phase of investigations procedures,

The appeal request must include the following:

1. Evidence of appeal.

2- Names of witnesses the complainant wishes to hear.

4- What is acceptable to the complainant regarding a solution to the problem.

Preparing the complaints appeal committee: If the Dean of the Deanship of Student Affairs decides that the appeal is requested according to the agreed upon rules, he forms an Appeal Committee within ten working days, which consists of:
