8
Objectives
• Describe the target from the summer-training program.
Enhance practical engineering skills.
Understand the theoretical engineering knowledge.
Acquire managerial skills.
Recognize the flow of work in industry and business sectors.
Training Methods and Activities
• Explain how the training was conducted:
Lectures to explain tools, machines, principle of operation, …. Etc.
Technical sessions to operate tools, machines, …. Etc.
Field-training
Monitor of operation
Customer support
…
…
• Divide this section into subsections with one for each training- method/activity.

Conclusions and Recommendations
• Conclusions section highlights:
The key findings of the training based on the training-methods and activities, previously discussed.
Skills acquired
New experiences
• Recommendations section offers proposals:
To overcome any barriers you confronted during the training program.
To improve the quality of the training and to maximize the benefits.
To minimize negativities.

• Never include a figure/table without discussion.
• Avoid spelling and grammatical errors; use auto-check of Word.
• Number the sections and subsections; for example:
3. Telephone Cabinets
3.1 Fiber Optics Cabinet 3.2 Copper Cabinets
• If there are references, add a section “References” at the end of the report.
• Quality of the report is much more important than the total number of pages.
