Genetic diversity evaluation of luffa collected from some provinces of Northern Vietnam using SSR markers

102 SSR markers were used to study genetic diversity of 108 luffa accessions collected from some provinces of Northern Vietnam. The results revealed that the total number of alleles detected at 50 loci was 196 with an average of 3.92 alleles per locus; 7 unique alleles at 5 loci were revealed. Polymorphic information content (PIC) values varied from 0.49 (ZIULM70) to 0.85(ZIULM13) with an average of 0.69. In addition, genetic similarity coeffteienls of 108 luffa accession ranged from 0.47 to 0 87. At a genetic similarity coefficient of 0.60; 108 luffa accessions were divided into four groups based on analysis of genetic relationships. Group i comprised 30 luffa accessions with genetic similarit)' coeffieient ranging from 0.65 to 0.87. Group II consisted of 38 luffa accessions divided into 2 sub-groups: Sub-group lla comprised 30 luffa accessions Mith genetic similarity coefficient ranging from 0.67 lo 0.86 and sub-group lib comprised 8 luffa accessions with genetic similarity eoefficient ranging from 0.66 to 0.78.
Group III consisted of 23 luffa accessions with genetic similarit)' coeffieient ranging from 0.62 to 0.75. G r o u p IV consisted of 17 luffa accessions m t h the highest genetic similarity coefficient of 0.82. Tlius, the results are valuable information for luffa conservation and breeding program in \'ietnam.

- Bun thai eua nha may bia Sai Gdn chfla hdm Iflpng chat hflu cd kha cao (33,74 - 33,87%), hdm Ifldng Nitd tong sd eao (1,378 - 3,85%), Kali dat mflc trung binh (0,133 - 0,411%) va ldn tdng sd d mflc ngheo (0,039 - 0,12%). Hdm Iflpng kim loai ndng gom Tliuy ngan, Chi. Asen va Cadimi deu dfldi ngddng gdy hai. Ngudn bfln thai nay rat thieh hpp lam nguyen heu cho viec tdi sfl dung vd san xuat phdn bdn hflu eo.

The objective of this study was to evaluate the biochemical characteristics and the potential of treatment of brewery waste sludge as an organic fertilizer for crops. The results indicated that Saigon brewery sludge contained quite high organic conient (33.74 - 33.87%); the total nitrogen was high (1.378 - 3.85%); the potassium level was m e d i u m (0.133-0.411 %) and the total phosphorus level was poor (0.039 - 0.12%). 30 days of treatment of sludge using microbial inoculants, the composting process changed the content of ingredients and eliminated pathogenic microorganisms.
Tlie organic matter reached 21.42%; total N reached 1.84%; total P reached 0.06% and total K reached 0.128%; the moisture reached 29.4%. Tlie compost product met organic fertilizer standards according to Decree No.84/2019/
N D - C P of Vietnam Government. The evaluation of the effect of compost product on c o m m o n bean in pots showed that roots grew better and fruit weight was 23.6%, higher than in the control. The brewery sludge treatment process yielded an organic fertilizer that could be used in agriculture as a soil addition nutrient source.
