Nhu vay, phai chang BSC ehi la mdt bien the cua TDB kieu Phap do ngUdi My tao ra hay nd hoan toan khac biet vdi TDB eua ngudi Phap? Cd nhQng diem gidng va khae nao gida hai cdng cu nay? De lua chpn BSC hay TDB, doanh nghiep can can cd vao nhQng dac dii'm gi?

Summary

The article presents information on the two prominent tools in business management, includ- ing Tableau de Bord (TDB) and Balance Scorecard (BSC). TDB, which was invented by the French in eariy 20th century, is an overall tool of indicators enabling managers to make decisions toward the strategic goals of the business. BSC is created by two American scientists, Robert Kaplan and David Norton, in 1990s. The author introduces the applications of these two tools in the reality of businesses in France and America, from which draws useful experiences for their applications in Vietnam.
