ITEMS

THE SERVICE PROVIDER IS REQUIRED TO DO THE FOLLOWING:

a) Develop high quality (HD) DVs that will be used for the promotion of careers in the sector as livelihood of choice.

b) The DVs must be:

• Long version ±120 min and short version of ± 20-30min & social media platforms videos ± 1 minute – 5 minutes.

• Must be rend end at broadcast quality (Zero db.)

• Audio quality at 32/42 kHz

• Full HD production

• DVs must be compatible with all devices

c) Conduct interviews with nominated DALRRD representatives (SMS) for an overview of the programmes (Career Awareness Programme, Entrepreneurship and External Bursary Scheme)

d) Recording and editing of videos

e) Conduct physical visits (with DALRRD official) to develop high quality DVs and to conduct one on one verification meetings for profiling different stakeholders

f) Develop a questionnaire to be used in profiling of completed DALRRD bursary holders, young professionals, experts and academia

g) Develop scripts for the video shoots.

Conduct profiling through questionnaires and do video shoots:

• Agricultural Management - University of Limpopo and Nelson Mandela University of Technology

DALRRDRESPONSIBILITY:

a) Provide technical content oversight for the project b) Lead debriefing sessions

c) Quality assures the developed DVs

REQUIREMENTS OF THE APPOINTED SERVICE PROVIDER

a) Appointed service provider must submit a comprehensive project plan with clear time frames and cost breakdown structure inclusive of travelling and accommodation costs.

b) Appointed service provider must provide contactable references as proof of similar work implemented in the past.

c) The appointed service provider must be prepared and have means to work and consult with the institutions of higher learning, provincial departments, experts in the sector and any other stakeholder.

d) The project must be completed in four months from the date of receipt of an official order number.

NB: Branding to be done in accordance to the DALRRD branding principles and the content will be approved by DALRRD

# Raw footage as well as edited footage to be provided in an external hard drive.

4. PROJECT DURATION

4.1. The appointed service provider will be required to develop digital videos within a period of four months after receiving a Purchase Order.
