DIRECTIONS DATED 9 MAY 2019

The Chief Justice has issued the following directions:

1. The application is set down for hearing on Tuesday, 3 September 2019 at 10h00.

2. The applicant must, on or before Monday, 24 June 2019, file a paginated record in accordance with rule 20(1) and (2) of this Court’s Rules containing only those portions of the record that are strictly necessary for the determination of the issues.

3. Written argument, including argument on the merits of the application, must be lodged by―

a) the applicant, on or before Monday, 8 July 2019; and b) the respondents, on or before Monday, 22 July 2019.

4. The parties are directed to also file written submissions, on or before Monday, 24 June 2019, on the impact of the cases of State Information Technology Agency SOC Limited v Gijima Holdings (Pty) Limited [2017] ZACC 40; 2018 (2) BCLR 240 (CC); 2018 (2) SA 23 (CC) and Buffalo City Metropolitan Municipality v Asla Construction (Pty) Limited [2019] ZACC 15, on this matter.

5. Further directions may be issued.
