Delivery, installation and connection of 10,000 liters Water tanks on foundations according to layout, secured with hook bolts. Must be able to pump a minimum of 4 000 l/h at a working pressure of 50 m to tanks according to the layout. All accredited electrical work required must be supplied and carried out by the contractor from the nearest available electrical point to the position of the pumps.
Backfill the inner space with soil from the excavations, compacting the soil every 150mm to form a firm base. Install galvanized 8mm fixing hooks for each tank (4 per tank), 200mm from each corner, cast into the concrete slab to tie down the tank with 4.0mm galvanized wire.

To appoint a service provider to supply and operate the installation of livestock watering support and water infrastructure for the Thembelihle smallholder farmers at Middlepost in the Saldanha Bay Municipality in the West Coast District, Western Cape. The Department of Agriculture, Land Reform and Rural Development (DALRRD – EDTM Branch) intends to appoint a service provider for the Livestock Watering System and Water Infrastructure Support for the Thembelihle Smallholder Farmers at Middlepost in the Saldanha Bay Municipality in the West Coast District, Western Cape. In order to achieve the above, the Department of Agricultural Land Reform and Rural Development (DALRRD - EDTM Branch) invites potential bidders to submit proposals for the establishment of a livestock watering system and water infrastructure support.
COMPANY: A copy of a resolution of the board of directors granting such authorization to a director or other officer of the company. CLOSED COMPANY: A copy of a resolution of its members granting such authorization to a member or other officer of the company. JOINT VENTURE: A resolution from each company in the Joint Venture, together with a resolution from its members authorizing a member of the Joint Venture to sign the documents on behalf of the Joint Venture.
The time frame for installation of storage irrigation system and water infrastructure support should be within twelve (12) weeks from the date of appointment. The evaluation of the functionality will be evaluated individually by members of the tender evaluation committee in accordance with the functional criteria and values below;. The following criteria will also be used in particular as criteria for the designation of the service provider.
Bidders must submit full details of testimonials or letters of reference for previous experience indicating the number of projects successfully completed. Flexibility in customer service in terms of turnaround time in terms of solving problems that may arise during the execution of the project, i.e. no material or information derived from the provision of the Services hereunder may be used for any purpose other than that of the Department, except where authorized in writing by the Department.
The Department reserves the right to terminate the contract if the service provider's performance is unsatisfactory. It is the responsibility of the prospective bidder to ensure that its bid document is submitted before the bid closing time and date. Any changes to the information provided in the tender document that may affect the delivery of fencing material should be brought to the attention of the Department as soon as possible.
