"The Cantor's Son"
Large audiences are filling the Standard Theatre every evening to witness the screening of "The Cantor's Son" - a Yiddish talkie film with English titles. The production is on a lavish scale and Moshe Oysher, the "Jewish Caruso,'' delights with his magnificent tenor voice.
The story is a moving one and gives verv fine flashes of both Ameri- can and Polish-Jewish life. In view of the success of the film, patrons are urged to book well in advance.
