PTPN XIII berupaya memenuhi kualiikasi maupun inisiatif eksternal. Proses reviu dan sertiikasi dilakukan

oleh Lembaga bertaraf internasional, yaitu PT TUV NORD Indonesia. Saat ini, PTPN XIII tengah mempersiapkan

kelengkapan untuk memperoleh sertiikasi Indonesia

Sustainable Palm Oil (ISPO), yang akan diberlakukan

control system, efforts to implement and achieve business strategies, increase the effectiveness of risk management, promote GCG implementation. (4.4)

In acordance with the regulation of the Minister of SOE No. PER-01/MBU/2011 article 28, verse 3, dated August 1st 2011, the head of Internal audit unit shall be

appointed and terminated by the Chief Executive Oficer

with the approval of the Board of Commisioners. PTPN XIII continously improves the implementation of the internal audit system by employing the Committee of Sponsoring Organizations of the Treadway Commission (COSO) approach to secure investments and the company assets.

Risk management

PTPN XIII has determined the risk management policy as the commitment of the management and all employees of the company as the reference to think and to act in the enterprise risk management implementation.

The Risk Management Unit at PTPN XIII (Persero) was established underthe BOD Decree No. 13.00/ KPTS/19/2008 dated June 23, 2008 on the Guideline for Risk Management Policy. The Risk Management Unit is led by the Head of Internal Audit Unit, and responsible for oversee in all aspects of risk in each line of the organization. The function and the role of the risk management unit is to identify, measure, map, and prepare mitigation and risk management application reporting to the Risk Management Committee. (4.9) (4.11)

From the identiication and risk estimation result on

the corporation level, the management has determined business risk on the highest and extreme level that may affect the corporate performance in the future, among others as follows: Votality risk on CPO and Rubber Commodity Selling Prices tends to decline; Risk of the decrease in the plasma oil palm productivity; Risk of

poor quality of FFB supply plasma and the third Party;

Risk of extreme climate/weather that disturbs the plant productivity; Risk of price increase in product and fuel

(inlation); Risk of permit process and land regulations

that considerate and inhibit investment. (4.9)(4.11)

PTPN XIII attempts to meet the qualiications as well as the

external initiative. The reviewing process along with the

certiication are conducted by an international standard

company, namely PT. TUV NORD Indonesia. By now, PTPN XIII is in the middle of laying out the paraphernalia

paling lambat tanggal 31 Desember 2014. Untuk itu Direksi melalui SK 13.09/KPTS/024/2011 tanggal 13 September 2011 telah membentuk Tim Implementasi ISPO yang beranggotakan karyawan pimpinan lintas bagian untuk mempersiapkan aspek penilaian dan

sertiikasi ISPO.

Sertiikasi yang diperoleh perusahaan terkait sistem

manajemen mutu dan sistem manajemen lingkungan adalah sbb:
