SIMPULAN
Penambahan selenium pada level 0.30 ppm dalam pakan broiler yang dipelihara di daerah tropis dapat menurunkan ekspresi gen HSP70, ekspresi gen GPX, aktifitas enzim GSH-Px, dan kadar MDA. Dengan demikian, pemberian selenium dapat memperbaiki produktivitas broiler mendekati yang dipelihara di suhu nyaman terutama ditunjukkan dengan perbaikan konsumsi ransum, bobot badan, pertambahan bobot badan dan konversi ransum.
