B. Implikasi dan Saran

Di samping cakupan periode waktu yang dianalisis terlalu pendek dan sedikitnya jurnal akuntansi terbaik yang menjadi bagian dari analisis, keterbatasan lainnya dari studi ini adalah tidak tercakupnya jurnal dari perpajakan (NTJ atau JATA) serta jurnal perpajakan lainnya sebagai bagian dari analisis untuk menutupi kelemahan penggunaan top jurnal akuntansi sebagai sampel seperti yang disarankan oleh Martani dan Al Irsyad (2013) dan dicontohkan oleh Coyne et al. (2010). Keterbatasan-keterbatasan tersebut memperbesar kemungkinan penelitan ini kurang dapat merefleksikan fenomena perkembangan riset perpajakan dewasa ini. Oleh karena itu, untuk meningkatkan kualitas hasil studi, diharapkan penelitian selanjutnya

menggunakan cakupan waktu yang lebih luas dan menggunakan jurnal perpajakan sebagai tambahan referensi di dalam menganalisis perkembangan riset perpajakan. Selain sebagai bahan referensi, analisis ini dapat digunakan oleh peneliti berikutnya sebagai bahan pertimbangan dalam menulis dan mempublikasikan artikel perpajakan.
