Penulis dilahirkandi kota Padang, Sumatera Barat pada tanggal 02 Februari 1990 sebagai anak kedua dari lima bersaudara dari pasangan Kompol Afdi dan Deli Warny.

Tahun 2008 penulis lulus dari Sekolah Menengah Analis Kimia Padang (SMAKPA) dan pada tahun yang sama penulis lulus seleksi masuk Universitas Andalas pada program studi Kimia, Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (FMIPA). Gelar Sarjana Science diraih oleh penulis pada bulan Januari 2013. Penulis mendaftar sebagai mahasiswa Ilmu Pangan, Departemen Ilmu dan Tekhnologi Pertanian Sekolah Pascasarjana IPB pada tahun 2013.

Selama masa perkuliahan, penulis mengikuti kegiatan kesenian. Pada tahun 2013,

penulis dipercaya sebagai official dalam konser “Semarak Melodi Khatulistiwa”. Pada tahun

yang sama penulis menjadi anggota Gita Swara Pascasarjana dan telah mengisi acara diberbagai seminar ilmiah.
